Self-regulated Learning and Well-being of University Students During the Covid-19 Pandemic

The bachelor thesis deals with the relationship between self-regulated learning and well-being of university students. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the condition of self-regulated learning and well-being of university students in times of Covid-19 pandemic. The theoretical basis is dedicated to results of research devoted to self-regulated learning and well-being in times of pandemic and main theoretical concepts of well-being and self-regulated learning are presented. Subsequently, the relationship between self-regulated learning and well-being of university students is identified. Thesis also includes empirical research, which aims to identify differences in self-regulated learning and well-being between students of faculty of medicine, who helped in health care establishments and those who didn't and between students of faculty of science. The mutual relationship between self-regulated learning and well-being and negative correlation between self-regulation and depression was found. Furthermore, significant differences in self-regulated learning and well-being between students in dependence on faculty or gender were not found.
